THE WOLFE BROTHERS TO PERFORM AT TUMBAFEST 2020
Bendigo Bank Tumbafest is adding a bit of Country to the mix on Sunday of the festival with headliners and 2019 Golden Guitar award winners, The Wolfe Brothers taking to the main stage.
“Following attendee feedback, the Tumbafest committee has confirmed The Wolfe Brothers to add a country dimension to the traditional blues day, offering another draw card for festival attendees.” Event Coordinator Karly Fynn said.
“The Wolfe Brothers are one of the most exciting country rock bands in Australia and we are thrilled they will be performing as part of our Sunday line up.”
The Wolfe Brothers first appeared in lounge rooms around the nation in 2012 when they were voted into second place in the final of Australia’s Got Talent.
Since then, they have toured the USA, written and recorded in Nashville and for the last 6 years have toured all over Australia with Lee Kernaghan – becoming of the hottest live acts in country music.
Last year was a huge year for the band, culminating with their Country Heart album being nominated for Best Country Album at the 2018 Aria Awards.
Kicking off 2019 with a bang, the band dominated at the Australian Country Music Awards where they were nominated for 5 Awards and took home 4 Golden Guitars for Album of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Group of the Year.
Leading up to Tumbafest, The Wolfe Brothers will be touring again with Lee Kernaghan on his massive 50 date Australian Tour and heading back to Nashville and Canada to write their next album.
Always the last weekend in February each year, Bendigo Bank Tumbafest will be held on 22-23 February 2020 – the regions premier celebration of music, food and wine.
