The concept of Tumbafest was born in 1997, when a group of passionate locals wanted to hold an event to showcase the best produce and premium quality wines the Tumbarumba region has to offer. Join us for the live cooking demonstrations held over the Tumbafest weekend and sample some the best produce from our region.
Celebrity chefs in the past have included Sammy and Bella from My Kitchen Rules in 2013, Alive and Cooking host James Reeson in 2016 and River Cottage Australia chef Paul West in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019 we welcome Mark Olive, aka The Black Olive, to the Costa Berries Cooking Demonstration Tent.
The demonstrations are the perfect opportunity to learn some new skills and pick up some tips about matching food to the local premium cool climate wines.
