Tumbafest - A Celebration of Community Spirit

Each year,a group of hard-working, dedicated volunteers, known as the Tumbafest Committee, meet to plan and organise Tumbafest. 2010 will herald Tumbafest's 13th year and guarantees a great weekend of first class entertainment, the region's best cool climate wines and food. The largest of its kind in the region, Tumbafest has become the regions finest quality music, wine and food festival. Supported by Hyne Timber, Tumbarumba's largest employer, Tumbafest is held annually on the last weekend in February. Truly a celebration of country lifestyle, this two-day event offers something for everyone. Attractions include: a jam-packed schedule of Main Stage entertainment, sublime regional wines, lots of arts and craft vendors, extensive food stalls, wine tasting, a farmer’s market, as well as numerous activities designed especially for young children, with many being offered FREE of charge. Tumbafest is proudly hosted by the Tumbafest Committee, whose tireless yearlong work culminates in a festival that exhibits full-scale community participation.
