On the last weekend in February of each year, the township of Tumbarumba is host to “Tumbafest” – a celebration of music, wine and food.
The largest of its kind in the region, Tumbafest has become the regions finest quality music, wine and food festival. Supported by Hyne Timber, Tumbarumba's largest employer, Tumbafest is held annually on the last weekend in February.
2009 will herald Tumbafest's 12th festival and guarantees a great weekend of first class entertainment, the region's best cool climate wines and food.
Truly a celebration of country lifestyle, this two-day event offers something for everyone. Attractions include: a jam-packed schedule of Main Stage entertainment, sublime regional wines, lots of arts and craft vendors, extensive food stalls, wine tasting, a farmer’s market, as well as numerous activities designed especially for young children, with many being offered FREE of charge.
This dynamic and appealing festival program ensures a magical time for Festival-goers.
“Tumbafest” is proudly hosted by the Tumbafest Committee, whose tireless yearlong work culminates in a festival that exhibits full-scale community participation.
